Target:
Rosette (Caldwell 49), an emission nebula 5,000 light-years from Earth measuring about 130 light-years across. It lives in the Monoceros constellation (pretty close to Orion) centered around star cluster NGC 2244. HII regions like these are home to newly formed stars, about 2500 in this particular complex.

714mm ES ED102, Celestron CGEM mount, Orion .8x focal reducer, QHY5L-II-M guide camera, Orion TOAG, ZWO EFW8 filter wheel, ZWO ASI1600MM-Pro cooled monochrome camera.
